# Verifying that a database can accommodate the added data

Before you add data to a database, especially large-scale volumes of data, make sure that the database can accommodate the additional data.

For a local database, Fabricate the maximum database size is based on your [license plan](/fabricate/about-fabricate/fabricate-license-plans.md).

For a database connection, you must ensure that the database server can accommodate the size of the data.
