You can create a user snapshot from a Tonic Ephemeral database at any time. The user snapshot reflects the state of the database at that time. You can use user snapshots to preserve specific data milestones.

To create a user snapshot from an Ephemeral database:

  1. In the Databases list, click the options menu for the database.

  1. In the options menu, click Create snapshot.

  2. On the Create User Snapshot panel, in the Snapshot name field, type the name of the new snapshot.

  1. Optionally, in the Snapshot description field, provide a longer description of the snapshot.

  2. Click Create User Snapshot.
