Supported LLMs for AI-enhanced features

For its AI-enhanced features, Tonic Structural supports the following LLMs:

• OpenAI. Structural supports any OpenAI deployment that:

  • Supports API key authentication.

  • Supports the OpenAI Responses API.

  • Supports OpenAI proprietary models, such as GPT-4/5.x.

Structural Cloud specifically uses the Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service.

How information is used by OpenAI

Microsoft stores queries and responses for 30 days for abuse monitoring, per their policy. While we have explicitly disabled the Response API's feature to save conversation history for application use, the platform's independent 30-day logging for security and compliance still applies.

Your input prompts and generated outputs remain private. They are never used to train the underlying models. However, as a best practice, we recommend that you do not include highly sensitive values in your manual prompts.

To deliver high-quality suggestions, Structural sends to the model as context:

• Your database schema.

• By default, representative data samples. However, you can configure Structural to exclude the sample data.
