Viewing and managing Ephemeral output
For workspaces that generate Ephemeral output, the Outputs view provides access to the generated Ephemeral snapshots, and the databases that were created from those snapshots.

Note that you do not need to have an Ephemeral account to view and manage the Ephemeral output in Structural.
Structural retrieves the snapshot and database information from Ephemeral. Any changes are saved to Ephemeral.
Viewing the list of Ephemeral snapshots
For snapshot and database actions, point to the corresponding information in the Ephemeral documentation.
On Outputs view, the Snapshots tab contains the list of Ephemeral user snapshots that Structural generated from the workspace source data.

For each user snapshot, the list includes:
The name of the snapshot
The size of the snapshot
The number of days until the snapshot is deleted automatically
When the snapshot was most recently used
When the snapshot was created
Filtering and sorting the snapshots list
When you click View Job Outputs for a data generation job, the snapshot list is automatically filtered to display the snapshot from that job.

To remove the job filter, click the delete icon for the job ID filter.
To filter the snapshots list by snapshot name, in the search field, type text in the snapshot name. As you type, Structural filters the list to only include snapshots that contain the text.
You can sort the list by name, time remaining, and the creation date. To sort the list by a column, click the column heading. To reverse the sort order, click the column heading again.
Options for managing an Ephemeral snapshot
From the Snapshots list, you can:
Create a database from the snapshot. To create a database, click the database icon. For more information, go to Creating a database from a user snapshot in the Ephemeral documentation.
Delete the snapshot. To delete the snapshot, click the delete icon. For more information, go to Deleting a user snapshot in the Ephemeral documentation.
Viewing the list of Ephemeral databases
The Databases tab contains the list of Ephemeral databases that were created from the snapshots.

For each database, the list includes:
The name of the database
The allocated size and compute resources for the database
The volume or image used to create the database
The database status, which includes:
Whether the database is currently active
The configured life span for the database
The amount of time remaining before the database expires
When the database was created
The user who created the database
Filtering and sorting the databases list
When you click View Job Outputs for a data generation job, the database list is automatically filtered to display the databases that came from that job. That includes databases that were created from the snapshot after the data generation.

To remove the job filter, click the delete icon for the job ID.
To filter the database list by name, in the search field, begin to type text in the database name. As you type, Structural filters the list to only include databases whose names contain the filter text.
To filter the database list by status, click the filter icon in the Status column. Check the checkbox for each status to include.
