Db2 for LUW is only available for data generation workspaces. You cannot use Db2 for LUW in a data science mode workspace.

Table mode limitations

In Db2 for LUW workspaces, you can only assign the De-Identify or Truncate table modes.

No subsetting

Db2 for LUW workspaces do not support subsetting.

No upsert

Db2 for LUW workspaces do not support upsert.

No output to container artifacts

In Db2 for LUW workspaces, you cannot write the destination data to container artifacts.

No output to an Ephemeral snapshot

In Db2 for LUW workspaces, you cannot write the destination data to an Ephemeral snapshot.
